Avino Silver and Gold Mines Ltd. (ASM: TSX.V, ASM: NYSE -MKT; “Avino” or “the Company”) regrets to report the death of anemployee on Tuesday, June 17, 2014 due to an accident at Circuit 2 within theprocessing plant on the Avino Property in Durango, Mexico.
Circuit 2 will be offline temporarily while an investigation is conducted.Avino is working with the Mexican authorities to facilitate their investigationof this accident. The Company does not expect the temporary closure of Circuit2 to have a significant impact on production. This unfortunate accident has notaffected the production from Circuit 1 (San Gonzalo) which accounts for themajority of Avino’s current production.

Avinoprides itself on the safety and well-being of our employees and contractors.
